Prylf
Prylf make modern music from old-time jazz evergreens, infused with an unusual playfulness and courage. While preserving the beauty of the original tunes, they won’t fear twisting them into unrecognizable shapes in brutal improvisations.
Prylf was formed in 2007 and has played all over Sweden, from Haparanda in the north to Malmö in the south, always with great responses. Despite and because of their role as the enfant terrible of Swedish jazz, Prylf attracts new ears and brings curiosity and self-confidence to a music that still deserves to move.
Prylf is Linnea Henriksson on vocals, Anton Toorell on the guitar, Felix Martinz on vibes and electronics, Patrik Grundström on bass and Raeel Raissi on drums.
